Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach Surf is a cool little surf shop in what reminds me of a Hawaiian-style plantation looking building. They sell surf gear in addition to offering surf lessons and board rentals. If you’re a surfer heading to Cannon, you should stop by and see what’s up. They also rent funcycles and metal detectors.

Surfboard & Other Rentals:

• Total Surf Package: $30 for daytime, $35 for 24 hours (Includes wetsuit, booties, gloves, soft-top surfboard, or boogie board and fins) add $10 for fiberglass board.
• Kids Under 12: $20 for daytime, $25 for 24 hours
• Boogie Board and Fins or Surfboard-Soft-top: $20 for 24 hours
• Surfboard (Fiberglass or Epoxy): $30 for 24 hours
• Wetsuit, booties and gloves: $15 for 24 hours
• Skim Boards: $15 for 24 hours
• Booties or gloves by themselves: $5 for 24 hours
• Metal detector: $3/hr or $15 for 24 hours
• Funcycles: $10 for 1 1/2 hours

Surf Lessons:

• 2-day Learn To Surf Private Lesson: $190 including equipment rental
• Single lessons: $75 for 1 person, $125 for 2 people, $150 for 3 people. Equipment additional.

Hours:
Winter hours: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm, Sunday 9am to 5pm.
Note: All hours are subject to “or so” rules, so they may not be open exactly at that time, and may shut a bit early. You might call first if you’re planning to show up at open or closing.
