Haystack Resort is a 3 story motel-style hotel, which accepts pets and is just across the street from beach access. Almost every room has a good view other than the ground level. They also have an outdoor but covered pool and hot tub area, something that many hotels in this price range are lacking.

All rooms are non-smoking, and free WiFi is also included. Room types include 1 & 2 queen size bed studios, 1 & 2 queens size bed suites, and 1 king size bed suites. Many rooms include a fireplace and kitchen, although some have just the fireplace.

Prices:
Off season specials can dip into the $120/nt range, with typical rates quoted around $150-170/nt.

Location:

• This property is right on Hemlock St. and backs to the exit off Highway 101. I have never been dissatisfied with the noise level, although if you’re extremely sensitive to noise it may be something to consider.
• Like For some, the location in the quieter Tolovana area will be a bonus, while others will consider this a drawback, since you virtually have to drive into town unless you’re up for a very long stroll on the beach, or a potentially dangerous and hilly walk up the road into midtown.
• Both Mo’s and Warren House Pub are across the street and next door, respectively, along with a small convenience store less than a block away.
